Cricket Trader
Because Cricket is a long drawn out sport, with matches lasting from 1 day right up to 5 days, it’s very easy to make big profits along as you know the trends to look for and the methods used. Cricket trader teaches you these things as well as telling you how to use them, and it’s relatively easy to understand and put in to action.
Unlike other sports you have no need to rush your trade either; if you stick to 5 day test match’s which is what I did, you have up to 5 days to complete your trades!
Many times, using the methods laid out in the cricket trader eBook, I would have pulled off some very large trades if betting for real, e.g. laying a team at 4.5 and then a day later backing them at 90! This is just one of the trading methods available in cricket trader.
The book is very well laid out with 27 main sections, yet it is also quite short and doesn’t drone on about pointless subjects just to fill space like so many eBooks out there. Once it has explained the basics of trading and Betfair (just skip those sections if you know the basics already) it gets straight to the point.
The only thing it lacks is a section explaining the rules of Cricket which would be very useful for people like me who are complete cricket novices. For example it may refer terms like a “century”, but not take the time to explain what a “century” is! This is rather annoying and means you have to research the rules yourself, though just by doing a Google search you can find out cricket rules and terms in no time and this is the only problem I had with the system.
Bet wise there are cricket matches all over the world on a regular basis so trading opportunities are ripe with Betfair covering most events, however if you are jut sticking to 5 day test matches like I did the bets are not as frequent. Sticking to 5 day matches is the best way until you feel confident enough to go for shorter matches.
With cricket Betfair doesn’t suspend the market, unlike with football, so you can start off a trade and then request the odds you want to complete the trade and forget it. I personally also checked from time to time throughout the day on the Cricinfo.com site to see how the match was progressing.
