Golf Pro Selections service
Golf Pro Selections is a Golf betting service, there are only a few of these around and even fewer decent ones.
It is being promoted by Steve Davidson but the actual bets come from a Golf expert according to the website, and looking at the results I have no reason to doubt it. The Each ways in my opinion are the real earners which are simply betting on the given players to come Each way (Win or place) Each way can often be anything up to the top 15 places on a leader board, the bets given are typically to be placed on the players coming in the top 5. The odds are usually fairly decent and for a winner, often fairly huge with the highest winner so far being 80/1!
The other bets are 3 ball bets, Match bets and sometimes Group bets. These consist mostly of simply betting on one player to beat one or two other players. The downside to these bets is that there are a lot of them and the odds are always quite low, so the return on investment is tiny and after a lot of selections and bets you may end up with a tiny profit, or a loss, however you may also end up with a moderate profit so it’s a matter of preference and betting style.
I personally just followed the each way bets as I felt the other bets were too much for too little but then again in the 1st 2 months these bets according to the results made 30+ points a month.
In my experience every bet on the results during October – end of December is true and none have been falsified. In my first month there was an 80/1 winner which is always nice, however as I was not betting with real money as I was just testing out the service I didn’t get on the bet! But that’s my fault.
From July to the end of December from betting on all bets given at the odds recorded you would have made 311 points with only around 60 of those coming from the 3 ball, match and the odd group bets, so it is clear the each way bets are where the money is.
The website is nothing flashy at all but this does in no way reflect the quality of the information which is what you are paying for! Not everybody has web design experience and it is often the big flashy sites that are the scams, relying on looks and not quality to draw you in so this is no big issue.
As for pricing there are 3 price options which are
£95 for 2 months
£195 for 6 months
£295 for 12 months
These prices are a little on the high side if you just want to sign up for the short term and you probably wouldn’t make anything if you are a £2 bettor, so it would be nice to see the option of paying for a month for people that just want to try the service without having to pay £95 for 2 months. Long term however the value is excellent, working out at just over £24 a month.
We at BSUncovered.com would recommend this service to anyone who can afford the membership fee and wants to bet on golf as it is an honest and so far profitable service which we will continue to monitor and perhaps proof if Steve wishes, which should give people thinking of signing up over the long term a bit more confidence .

UPDATE
The selections have taken a slump of late and all the profit that was made from the start of this review has almost been wiped out. Because of this we now say to potential buyers just keep an eye on the service to see if it can regain itself.
If you take in to account the profit made before they started proofing to us then the Each way bets are still in profit and they do have some very good high priced straight winners.

It has come to our attention that when an each way bet is tied with other players, the odds are split between the players. However the service still used 1/4 odds on these occasions, so we have questioned them about it as it may just be an honest mistake. Their reply has been added below...
Yes I would love to get this sorted as I wondered why a lot less came into account on some ties, also it does seem to vary on exchanges bookies, so i will be looking into it for you. Are you a cuurrent member. We try and get all our tips and results correct, we run many services at good profits over the long term and we print EVERY RESULT, losers as well as winners. If we have a crap month everything is there for people to see. Sometimes I think is it worth running these tip services, as you can advise people on staking not missing a bet etc, but very few people follow the tips how they should be followed, and despite making a lot of money for our members, we still get lots of people not doing it right, so there are two sides to anything.
Obviosly we cant say how things will go in the future, but we always stand up to be counted on our results. yesterday our tennis and racing back best lost. Our racing lay won, and our football had one win one lose. Slightly down on the day, and all results will show this. We now run 8 tip services in total, 4 racing and 4 sports and they do well over the long term. On some of our results the profits could be much higher if people had access to huge number of bookies and took time spreading bets around. We print easily available or sp coupon odds, and often you could get more on betfair, even allowing for 5% commission, so our profit figures if anything could be higher than we actually show. Example Fasth that came second last week on golf, we showed 70-1 odds for win, and we got 110-1 (Proof as I backed him at 110-1 on betfair), far exceeding the bookie odds shown, so if I re-adjust the figures on the places as they should be for ties, i should show what was easily available every time which actually would increase profit figures dramatically if people had several accounts. Ill look into this in next day or so and get back to you.
